Temporary bridge 12-13

This patient presented to our clinic with a devasting fracture of the 12 that could not be restored. After going through the options, we decided to replace the 12 with a bridge in the area. In order to create the temporary, I was able to create a direct bridge with an ovate pontic freehand using composite resins. With guidance from Dr. Sahil Soni, the patient will receive the bridge in 3 months as we attempt to shape the gingival contours while waiting for healing. At the end of the appointment, the patient could not be happier to have her tooth back!

This patient presented with a severe throbbing toothache. Cosmetically, the patient did not want to lose this tooth so we decided that the best option was root canal treatment. Following two sessions using our clinics’ rotary endodontic systems, we were able to smoothly and successfully treat the tooth. The final restoration was then completed in direct resins and finished using a series of discs and polishing cusp. Looking back, there are things I could improve, nonetheless, the patient was very happy with the final result!
