I graduated from James Cook University at the end of 2016 and have been working at Brookwater Dental Surgery ever since. As graduation drew closer, and I started apply for jobs, I was initially overwhelmed in trying to apply for a practice that had what I was looking for. I emphasised finding a workplace that did right by my patients and me, as well as offering mentoring. I knew that not everywhere was going to be the right fit. However, I was determined to take my time and find a place where I could settle for the long term to build a solid foundation.
